Anne Wilson continues to share how the Lord has impacted her life through music, releasing her new EP The God Story which features four songs about living for God and her testimony.
“The God Story EP marks the beginning of such a special new season of music for me,” Wilson said. “These songs are rooted in my story, in God’s faithfulness and in the hope He gives us in every moment. This is just the beginning. There’s so much more ahead, and I can’t wait to share!”
“These new songs on my God Story EP are straight from my heart – every lyric, every melody is a part of the story God’s been writing in my life,” she added. “I pray they remind you of His goodness through it all.”
Sharing the gospel through her music is nothing new for Wilson who has made faith the centerpiece of her career since the beginning. The Christian/country singer did not follow the typical path of a musician; it wasn’t her dream from a young age. Instead, she sang in public for the first time in 2017 after the tragic death of her brother. Her performance of “What a Beautiful Name” at the funeral ended up going viral, allowing her to later launch her career.
Wilson, however, understands that her success comes fully from the Lord, which is why she unashamedly incorporates His goodness into every piece of music she writes.

“God had such different plans for me,” she said in 2023. “What He’s done in my life has been just so extraordinary. It’s been very interesting to see how you have an idea for your life and then He has another idea. It can be completely different, but it’s everything that you ever needed and everything you ever dreamed of.”
Wilson, one of the hottest voices in country music, is now touring America with Morgan Wallen, sharing Jesus with every person who attends these concerts.
“He’s my dream artist to open for,” Wilson said. “So that alone — but just getting to spread the gospel with a stadium full of people — I’m so excited, I cannot wait.”
“I love that I can have just a bigger audience to reach people for the gospel,” she added. “And I love that my songs have been played on country radio — it’s so cool to me. You know, I love just getting to spread the name of Jesus and the hope that He offers. So it’s been a really great journey for me.”
Praise the Lord for the amazing work He has done through Wilson’s music and the plans He has for the future as she continues to release more songs.
