Ben Napier Prays With Daughters, Encourages Their Faith
By Movieguide® Contributor
Erin Napier is sharing the sweet things her daughters said about husband and dad Ben in honor of Father’s Day.
“What do you love most about Daddy?” Napier asked her daughters, transcribing the conversation for an Instagram Story.
Helen, 6, answered, “He’s strong, he’s giving, and he’s nice.”
“He plays with me and prays with me,” Mae, 3, responded.
“Good answers, babies,” Erin wrote.
In another Father’s Day post, Erin shared, “You make every girl in this house feel special and loved and safe, you’re the only one who can help Mae sleep when she wakes up scared, you never ‘babysit’ because you’re always in it with me 100%. Thank you for being the best.”
“God gave us the finest daddy he could come up with,” Erin concluded. “@scotsman.co, we sure do love you.”
Erin frequently posts shout-outs for Ben online, praising him for being a good father and partner. Movieguide® previously reported:
HGTV star Erin Napier recently gave birth to her second daughter, Mae, on May 28 and shared that she is thankful to her husband and her daughter’s father, Ben Napier.
On Instagram, Erin shared how Ben supported the family throughout her pregnancy and time with the newborn.
“If he’s not scooping me up off the sofa as I’m still recovering from surgery, he’s mixing a bottle or taking Helen swimming,” Erin wrote. “And I have kissed him every time he’s in arm’s reach because I know exactly how lucky we all are. 😍.”
Erin continued: “A reminder for those with spouses: tell them often – ‘thank you for everything you do for us.’ and MEAN IT.”
The Napiers often talk about their commitment to being dedicated and present parents.
“They’re our first priority,” Erin told PEOPLE of juggling parenting and work. “I mean, we love doing this and it’s a privilege, but we don’t ever want our girls to say, ‘Mom and Dad were just gone when we were growing up.’”
For example, the Napiers shut down production on HOME TOWN for a week when one of their daughters got sick.
“I hated it, and I know it was an expensive problem, but we had to be Mommy and Daddy,” Ben explained.
Erin added, “We have to have our priorities, and our first priority is what will be when there is no TV, and what was there before there was TV, and that’s me and Ben and the girls. So, that’s the priority.”
