BRINGING UP BATES’ Carlin and Evan Announce Stewart Baby No. 2

BRINGING UP THE BATES star Carlin Bates Stewart and her husband Evan Stewart announced that their second baby is on the way!
The couple, who had Layla Rae in January 2020, told E! News the exciting news of baby No. 2.
“Stewart Baby No. 2 is coming in 2022!” Carlin and Evan told E! News. “Let the baby shopping adventures, food cravings, morning (sometimes all day) sickness and midnight snacks begin! Every single part of the baby journey is worth it!”
Carlin also shared the announcement on Instagram, with pictures of her family on a trip to Target.
“What life looks like getting ready for baby #2 👶🏼 #stewcrew,” Carlin wrote in the caption. “Let the baby shopping adventures, food cravings, morning (sometimes all day) sickness, and midnight snacks begin! Every single part of the baby journey is worth it, and being parents is the best part of our story! Layla bug is the absolute joy of our lives and we can’t wait to see her become a big sister. Our new addition to the crew is honestly more exciting than we can truly express in words. Thank you all for your love, support, encouragement, and prayers. You are such a special part of our lives!! Hugs!”
The couple goes by the Stewart Fam on YouTube and also posted an announcement for their 110,000 subscribers.
Carlin co-owns the Bates Sisters Boutique while Evan works as an electrician. However, their busyness does not distract them from their gratitude for God’s provision.
“Children are definitely a gift from God, and we are so thankful for our little bundles,” the couple told E! News. “We never want to take any moment of the life God has blessed us with for granted. Our new addition to the crew is honestly more exciting than we can truly express in words.”
The family also anticipates that Layla will be a fantastic older sister to the newest addition to the “Stew Crew.”
“Layla bug is the joy of our lives! Seeing her big smiles and the way she loves on her daddy when he comes home from work is the highlight of our day. She’s also obsessed with her new baby cousins, so we can’t wait to see the excitement on her face when we bring home a new baby brother or sister,” they said.
Even with their excitement, the couple said they would rely on prayer and faith in God to be the parents to two young children.
“We can’t imagine being parents to two kids, 2 [years old] and under, yet we have prayed for this moment and are extremely thankful to the Lord for this opportunity,” they said.
