A new Discovery show with a star-studded, yet surprising cast is on its way.
The reality TV series, titled TRUCK DYNASTY, will feature famed restaurateur Guy Fieri and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neil. HGTV’s “Property Brothers” Drew and Jonathan Scott executive produce.
The show gives viewers a peek at Apocalypse Manufacturing in Florida and follows the “larger-than-life family who transform average trucks into the loudest, most coveted, and eye-catching custom creations around.”
“From a high-water emergency response vehicle built for fire departments to traverse downed palm trees to a ‘Boat Truck’ – an amphibious Jeep that cruises the highway and dives straight into the water – TRUCK DYNASTY showcases next-level creations built to conquer land, water, and everything in between,” the press release from Warner Bros. Discover says.
The trailer sees Apocalypse Manufacturing owner Joe Gatas introduce himself and his wife, Ashley, saying, “I build the trucks, and Ashley’s family sells them…We turn average trucks into jaw-dropping monstrosities.”
The trailer shows some of the souped-up trucks race through lakes and whip donuts in a parking lot.
The show sees Apocalypse Manufacturing transform trucks for different customers, including celebs like O’Neil and Fieri. While the Property Brothers won’t appear on screen, their entertainment company, Property Brothers Entertainment, produces the reality series.
“A lot of people know us, obviously, from PROPERTY BROTHERS and the shows, but they don’t realize that we have one of the largest unscripted production companies in the country,” Drew recently said of TRUCK DYNASTY. “It’s been fun for us. We really dive in everything family, celebrity, docu-follow, lifestyle. That’s where we shine. And so, we have 15 series on the go right now.”

Other shows that Property Brothers Entertainment runs include CHASING THE WEST, BACKED BY BROS, DON’T HATE YOUR HOUSE WITH THE PROPERTY BROTHERS and CELEBRITY IOU.
And the PBE shows continue to thrive, with CELEBRITY IOU recently premiering its 10th season.
Their show CHASING WEST is set to debut on Wednesday, July 30. This series follows “Drew and Jonathan as they help families who want to own their own land or escape the hustle and bustle of city life to find solace in the countryside… The duo will help these families adapt to these new ways of living—like the slower pace, tending to livestock, and growing produce themselves,” per the brothers’ website.
DUCK DYNASTY will premiere on Aug. 12 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Discovery.
