Ahead of the NFL Draft, prospects shared their favorite football movies and what TV shows they enjoy in their free time, some family friendly and others not so much.

“THE BLIND SIDE, that’s my favorite movie of all time,” New Orleans Saints rookie Jordyn Tyson told Variety. “I could go word-for-word with Sandra Bullock on there.”

It won two Movieguide® Awards back in 2010. Part of Movieguide®’s review for THE BLIND SIDE reads:

THE BLIND SIDE is an excellent movie with fine storytelling and great performances. It is a small movie with conflicts that hit home but are not earth shaking. Even so, the subtle conflict may be the movie’s biggest draw. THE BLIND SIDE contains a very strong message of Christian faith. It’s very clear that Leigh Anne helps Michael because she is a Christian. They pray around the table and speak freely about their faith. However, a tutor says that she has doubts about religion. There is some talk concerning sexual relations and male private parts. And, there is one scene with a fist fight. But, the message of faith is very clear, and the drama is incredibly moving.

Miami Dolphins offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor‘s favorites include THE BLIND SIDE, REMEMBER THE TITANS and THE SANDLOT.

Movieguide®’s review for REMEMBER THE TITANS reads:

Based on a true story, REMEMBER THE TITANS depicts the reality of forced integration in Alexandria, Virginia in 1971 and the impact of having courage tempered by good character. Though the movie’s racial theme is not always easy, the casting and performances by Washington, Will Patton as the assistant coach and Donald Faison as one of the players are excellent. Despite a few questionable elements, this movie gives an important life-lesson about exchanging hate for loyal friendships. It is a refreshing and uplifting, often humorous, look at the antics of high school football.

“I’ve seen them hundreds of times each, at least,” Proctor told Variety.

Linebacker Mansoor Delane, the Kansas City Chiefs’ sixth overall selection, said ZOOTOPIA 2 was the last movie he saw in theaters.

As far as what athletes are watching in their free time, Dallas Cowboys’ No. 11 pick, safety Caleb Downs, said he finished the NIGHT AGENT as well as BREAKING BAD.

Chicago Bears’ safety Dillon Thieneman said he just completed INVINCIBLE Season 4.

Though these athletes certainly spend hours at the gym, on the field and in the recovery room, it looks like they still find time to take a break and watch their favorite movies and shows.
