Actor Tyler Hynes’ passion project, I’LL BE SEEING YOU, finally made its way to the small screen!
“Inspired by Hynes’ deep respect for veteran actors and the wisdom they share on set, the road trip romance reunites him with his HOLIDAY TOUCHDOWN: A CHIEFS LOVE STORY co-star, Tony winner Christine Ebersole,” Parade reported, adding that I’LL BE SEEING YOU was “the first project he put into development at Hallmark.”
The movie follows workaholic Amy (Stacey Farber), who sets off on an unexpected road trip with her grandmother Vivien (Ebersole). The pair are joined by Viven’s best friend Sue (BJ Harrison) and their retirement community’s Activities Director Mark (Hynes).
“What begins as a straightforward work trip becomes an unexpected adventure when the group visits a town that holds a meaningful place in Vivien’s past,” the description of the movie continues. “Along the way, Amy’s spark with Mark turns into something deeper that has them reconsidering what they want out of life.”

Farber spoke to Us Weekly about her role in the project, sharing, “My character is a classic workaholic, who can’t let go of her job to just enjoy her life even a little.”
However, through her road trip with her grandmother and her friend — and her budding romance with Mark — Farber’s character learns about “the necessity of enjoying your life and being more spontaneous.”
In an interview with Us Weekly, Hynes spoke about how his friendship with Ebersole inspired I’LL BE SEEING YOU, saying, “Christine and I met on the Chiefs movie, HOLIDAY TOUCHDOWN, and that was a series of moments throughout my career and life where I’d had the opportunity to work opposite somebody who had been doing this for such a wonderful amount of time.”
He continued, “Those were always my favorite memories from shooting these movies, and it was no exception on Chiefs, and so when we finished that, I really tried to go about bringing this movie to happen and have Christine step into this role, which was a dream.”
“Honestly, it was a playground I wanted to create for Christine,” he shared. “I think there’s nothing more beautiful in life, and certainly love, than perspective, and what better way to sort of explore a new perspective on that than having someone like Christine be the center of the story, and have her love story be something that kind of galvanizes this blossoming relationship. I just think it’s beautiful.”
I’LL BE SEEING YOU premiered on Hallmark April 25.
