Tim and Demi-Leigh Tebow love life with their new baby girl, Daphne Reign.
A recent Instagram video shows the Tebows enjoy sweet moments together as they adjust to being a family of three. In the video, Tim admires his daughter as she sleeps in her bassinet. Another clip shows Demi-Leigh snuggling her baby girl.
“2 weeks with our girl, and every little moment reminds me of God’s perfect love and faithfulness,” Demi-Leigh wrote in the caption.
People in the comment section congratulated the family.
“She is precious! May she grow up loving the Lord as much as her parents do! May He bless all of you abundantly. 🙏🏼✝️💖” one follower said. Another person added, “There’s nothing sweeter than when a daddy looks at his brand new babygirl.”
Another person commented, “This just makes me cry…knowing how loved and cherished she is…that she will know as soon as she can comprehend it, the love of Jesus and her worth to Him. If every baby could be so blessed and wanted.”
The couple are relishing all the moments that come with being new parents.
“Last week when we brought Daphne home. Tim’s face in the second slide says it all. He’s just so proud!” Demi gushed on Instagram last week, showing how thrilled Tim is to be a dad.
Daphne was born on July 6. She was named after Demi’s great aunt who helped raise her. It’s a Greek name meaning “laurel tree, bay tree.” Her middle name, Reign, was “inspired by a precious little girl Tim and I have loved deeply for years” and also by her parents’ desire that she knows who God made her to be.
“…her name reminds us that when you’re adopted into God’s family, you become a child of the King. You were made to rule and reign—not in power, but in purpose, love, and identity,” the couple said.
In an interview with Parents in April, the Tebows shared their excitement for parenthood.
“One of the things I’m most excited about is seeing a little Demi,” Tim said. “And I just think it’s going to be so fun to watch Demi be a mom, because I think this entire pregnancy, she’s just had a glow about her. She’s loved it. It’s something that we’ve been called to and such a blessing. So we’re honored.”
Demi joked, “…I’m just excited to see him rock a pink stroller. But no, we’re so thrilled and so blessed, just so grateful for this blessing and this life that we get to help steward and help raise, and that’s obviously a very big responsibility, but one that we take on so so gladly.”
The Tebows will certainly keep their followers updated as they enjoy this special time as new parents.
