Logan Cain from the Christian band CAIN shared how God carried him through his wife’s miscarriage and how that tragedy turned into a blessing.
“In January of 2025, I found out that my wife and I were having a miscarriage,” Cain shared. “I felt so afraid, I felt so lost, I felt shaken. It felt so personal. It felt common and also so isolating. And I didn’t know if I would ever have another baby or want to have another baby, and I felt like maybe it was my fault.”
“I remember feeling in that moment what I thought was the peace of God was really the joy of God being my strength,” he continued. “And I realized that no matter what the outcome was, I never left the hand of my Father. And this fall, I’m having another baby.”
To celebrate this amazing news and the struggle of trusting God amidst the trials of life, CAIN released a new song called “I Made It,” which celebrates the way God turns our curses into blessings. This sort of song fits perfectly into their discography which often focuses on Christ’s victory over the somber areas of life.
“I feel like there’s a way to sing scripture, and it still be a little bit more somber and that has its place, but we were wanting to write about overcoming faith,” Madison Johnson, Cain’s sister and fellow band member, previously told Sadie Robertson Huff. “He can! I believe that. We’re just trying to get people to believe about the victory they have in Jesus.”

The group’s love for Jesus comes from a lifelong walk with Him. However, their music journey did not start in Christian worship, as they originally planned on being a secular band. This venture, however, did not play out, and they had to abandon music entirely to make ends meet.
They eventually got plugged back in with their church and, after volunteering in multiple areas, were asked to help with worship. One thing led to another, and eventually they found themselves doing music full time. This time it was not on their terms but on God’s.
“If anything, it shows you about this getting in line with the will of God,” Johnson said. “You know, not that it makes everything easier but you can just feel this wind behind your back of the pleasure of God.”
As they continue to tackle and redeem life’s most difficult circumstances, the band CAIN provides hope for their millions of fans and encourages them to continue to seek God even when life gets hard.
