Erin and Ben Napier are celebrating a pretty significant milestone!
“Can’t believe it’s been 10 years since #HGTVHomeTown premiered!” an Instagram post from the network’s official account posted. “Thank you, Ben & Erin, for bringing Laurel into all of our lives.”
Fans were quick to fill the comment section with their own well-wishes. One wrote, “I can’t believe it’s been that long! I named my daughter Laurel because of the show Love love love HOME TOWN!”

“Thank ya’ll for a wonderful show and sharing your life with us,” another commented.
In a recent interview with TooFab, the couple reflected on their decade of TV success.
“This is a weird time for TV and a lot of people within the industry have asked us questions like this, and we don’t know why our show is still on,” Ben said. “It’s probably because so many people watch it and love it and connect with it. And we are grateful for that.”
He continued, “At the end of the day, Erin and I feel like we are getting up every day and going to a normal job and going to work. And we love the people that we work with. We love what we get to do. Every day is a little bit different, and that’s taking out the big picture, which is this is an international television show.”
In an interview with TV Insider about HOME TOWN’s ongoing tenth season, Ben said, “When we started, I can remember the conversation. We didn’t know how long a show would last or run.”
“They told us two percent of shows make a hundred episodes,” Erin added. “That’s a general rule apparently. It’s very hard to believe. Who would ever imagine that you would live in Laurel, Mississippi, and make a TV show about it. And not just a few episodes, but more than a hundred. It’s incredible.”
Teasing upcoming Season 10 episodes, Erin used the word “challenging” to describe some of their renovations.
“This season was extremely challenging,” she said, with Ben chiming in: “Our crew, we pushed them to the brink, because of the projects that we took on. There are two particular projects that stick out that felt impossible once we got into them.”
HOME TOWN fans are excited to celebrate 10 years of the show — and are looking forward to many more episodes!
You can catch HOME TOWN Sunday evenings at 8/7c on HGTV.
