GAF Star Wishes She Listened to Her Elders in Her 20s: ‘Soak Up Everything You Can’

Candace Cameron Bure is sharing her best advice for her 20-year-old self.
“What is one piece of advice you would give 20-year-old you?” Allie Beth Stuckey asked Bure at her 2024 Share the Arrows Conference.
“That the 20s are not the best decade of your life. I don’t know why I thought that, but for so many years I thought, this is the best I’m ever going to look,” Bure responded. “I’m just gonna know everything and be so smart because we do think we know everything in that decade.”
“I wish I knew that someone would tell me, ‘Soak up everything you can from people who have gone before you. Use your ears. Sit and listen because every decade is going to get better.’ At least, I felt that way because you learn more.”

She added that she continues to get wiser and care less what others think and is excited about the coming years.
Stuckey and Bure both host podcasts and often invite guests to come on their shows to be interviewed. Recently, Bure hosted actress Priscilla Shirer and Christian influencer Allie Schnacky.
Schnacky shared on Instagram last week, “So pumped to announce I will be cohosting all season long on @candacecameronburepodcast 🤭🤍 All my girls & girl moms THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!!! It was such a special thing to sit down with @candacecbure & @natashabure to talk about all the things that come with being a girl chasing after Jesus in today’s culture. And I mean ALL the things!”
This year, Bure will make another appearance at Stuckey’s Share the Arrows conference.
Bure told her followers Friday, “Tickets go on sale for Share the Arrows 2025 in 2 weeks, on February 28th!! The event is October 11th in Dallas, TX 🏹 #sharethearrows.”
Movieguide® has awarded Bure with several Teddy Bear Award®s and nominated her for a Grace Prize® this year for her recent role in A CHRISTMAS LESS TRAVELLED.
