The tragedy of Charlie Kirk’s assassination has devastated many in America and around the world, but none more so than Erika Kirk, Charlie’s wife.
In a post to Instagram just three days after the horrible event, Erika spoke about God’s goodness even amid tragic loss.
“The world is evil. But our Savior. Our Lord. Our God. Не…Не is so good. I will never have the words. Ever,” she began the post.
She expressed, “The sound of this widow weeping echos throughout this world like a battle cry.”
“I have no idea what any of this means. But baby I know you do and so does our Lord,” she said, speaking to her late husband. “They have no idea what they just ignited within this wife. If they thought my husband’s mission was big now…you have no idea. You. All of you. Will never. Ever. Forget my husband @charliekirk1776 I’ll make sure of it.”

She concluded the emotional post, writing, “Rest in the arms of our Lord baby as He blankets you with the words I know your heart always strived to hear, ‘well done My good and faithful servant.’”
This refers to the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:23, where Jesus says, “His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’”
The post, which has amassed over 6.4 million likes in just days, was filled with support, grieving and prayers for the Kirk family.
“💔 Just let us know how we can help. My family is praying for yours,” Mikhaila Peterson, daughter of Dr. Jordan Peterson. said. Another user said “We are standing with you. we love you. we will not stop praying. we will not stop fighting. we will not stop using our voices and speaking truth — Charlie would tell us all not to back down!”
Political commentator and influencer Isabel Brown added, “Honored to know and love you. We are praying for you & your beautiful children and Charlie’s soul incessantly & without ceasing.”

Erika also addressed the nation in a video, sharing the same sentiment that her late husband’s legacy will live on.
Podcaster Allie Beth Stuckey shared in a video how the even amid the tragedy of Charlie’s tragic death, God is working.
“It’s been five days of seeing God do what he does. Bring people to Himself, stack the odds against Himself, tear them down,” she explained. “I’ve seen Charlie’s martyred blood water the seeds of revival, and I’ve seen those seeds already begin to take root and sprout up. Charlie’s unflinching boldness for the Gospel is not for naught.”
The world grieves Charlie Kirk not simply because he was an influential man in our culture turning people toward God, but because we see a bit of him in ourselves — someone who wants to stand up for the gospel and for truth in a culture that tries to silence us.
