Chris Pratt Declares Jesus ‘Transformed My Life’

On Sunday, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY actor Chris Pratt shared an Easter message with his followers.
“HE IS RISEN! #HappyEaster,” the actor captioned a photo of himself and two others standing in front of a cross.
“He transformed my life. He can transform yours as well. I promise you,” he continued.
He ended his short post with a segment of John 14:6: “Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.”
As a follower of Christ, Pratt has openly confessed his faith several times in recent years.
He said something similar to his Easter message at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards.
“God is real,” he said. “God loves you, God wants the best for you. Believe that; I do.”
His Instagram bio also reads,” God first. Grateful to be here.”
Movieguide® reported how worship and Bible reading helped Pratt overcome online hate:
“If you feel down today maybe get exercise and maybe listen to some good worship music or get the Word in because it really helped me this morning,” Pratt said…
“I went to bed last night really kind of upset and depressed,” Pratt said in an Instagram story following the [online attacks]. “And I woke up feeling crappy and I didn’t want to work out.”
But after listening to Christian music and going for a run, “It felt amazing,” Pratt said. “That moment, it really captured me and so I just want to say, all glory to God.”
When it comes to criticism about his faith, the actor says, “It’s nothing new.”
“That’s the way it is — nothing new,” Pratt said last May. “Two thousand years ago, they hated him (Jesus) too.”
“If I was of this world, they would love me just like that, but as it is, I’ve chosen out of this world,” he said.
