CROSSROAD SPRINGS co-stars Jon Stoddard and Brittany Underwood recently teamed up to present the Faith and Freedom Award for TV at this year’s Movieguide® Awards Gala!

The nominees for the Faith and Freedom Award for TV include BOSTON BLUE Episode 1.8, THE CHRISTMAS SPARK, COUNTY RESCUE Episode 2.5, HOUSE OF DAVID Episode 2.8 and WHEN HOPE CALLS Episodes 2.1 and 2.2.

Stoddard and Underwood star as James Hamilton, a pastor, and cafe owner Maggie Johnson, respectively, in CROSSROAD SPRINGS, which was nominated at the Movieguide® Awards for the Best Streaming For Families Award. Stoddard also was nominated for the Grace Prize® for Most Inspiring Performance for Streaming (Actor).

“[I’m looking forward to] spending the time and sharing this opportunity with co-stars [and] people that have inspired me to become an actor,” Stoddard told Movieguide® on the red carpet. “This really means a lot to me to be here.”

He added that the event “re-instills my faith in God, and reminds me that I’m on the right track, being here.”

Underwood also spoke to Movieguide®, sharing, “I love this [event]. My mom is so happy I’m on this show, CROSSROAD SPRINGS, because she’s told our whole entire church about it.”

“It’s really nice,” she continued. “It’s faith and family-friendly, and everyone can sit down and watch it….we’re excited to do that type of content.”

In CROSSROAD SPRINGS, James returns to work on the family farm and “begins to realize there are no places to worship on the thousands of acres of farms. There, in the environment of come-as-you-are vibes, barns, rodeo arenas, even outdoors under clear night skies, James starts a cowboy church right there in the place where faith, family, and ranch life go hand in hand,” per a synopsis of the show.

“We are very proud to introduce our audience to this new series,” Bill Abbott, President and CEO of Great American Media, said in a statement about the show. “Like our other original series, CROSSROAD SPRINGS furthers our mission to create meaningful content anchored in timeless values.”

He continued, “With compelling storytelling, heartfelt performances, and themes that encourage and inspire, CROSSROAD SPRINGS continues the Great American Media tradition of wholesome entertainment for the entire family.”

The 33rd Annual Movieguide® Awards will stream on Great American Family on March 5.
