In a new interview with Crosswalk Headlines, Demi-Leigh Tebow discussed how her husband, Tim Tebow, is the “sweetest” dad to their newborn daughter, Daphne.

“The baby girl’s doing wonderful. If you could just see Tim being a dad, it’s just the sweetest, sweetest experience to see how much he interacts with her and enjoys being around her. Tim has been a great husband, throughout the last couple of weeks stepping into parenthood and navigating this new normal. I’ve realized life will never be the same in all the best ways possible,” Demi told Crosswalk Headlines.

A month after Daphne was born, Demi and Tim shared on Instagram their experience with their newborn.

“31 days of hearing your little voice and learning what each sound means.
4 weeks of feeling your heartbeat in my arms, instead of waiting to hear it at the next appointment,” the couple wrote in a joint post. “A month of celebrating every ounce you gain and every smile you give. I’m praying with you now, not just for you. Holding your little feet instead of feeling your little kicks.

“I constantly find myself in awe — I could watch and stare at you all day. One month of you and already, I can’t imagine life without you! Thank you Jesus for the blessing of YOU,” the post concluded.

Demi just released a one-hundred-day devotional book, “Knowing Who You Are Because of Who God Is: 100 Days to Unbreakable Faith,” in hopes of helping readers “let go of your insecurities and fears and build a more resilient faith.”

While Demi spoke with Crosswalk, she explained why she felt like she had to write the devotional.

“Statistic that tells us that 85% of people have at some point in their lives struggled with low self-esteem,” Demi said. “I think a lot of that can be linked back to comparison issues; it’s so easy for us nowadays to compare our everyday stories to somebody else’s highlight reel. It’s the best of the best snippets in 30 seconds. What we compare our whole week or day or year or two, is somebody else’s highlight reel. I think it’s so easy to get caught up in that, of something that ultimately isn’t even realistic or real.

“I think it’s something that I’ve struggled with, it’s a very real problem that people face,” she continued. “I also believe that as the body of Christ, we’ve been created to be a part of a community. When we focus on a community that loves us, that cares for us, that perhaps shares our faith, we can turn that comparison into a celebration instead of comparison, celebrating our uniqueness and our differences.”

Demi and Tim have embraced parenthood to the fullest. Demi shared that it’s the “sweetest” thing to see her husband Tim be a father to Daphne.
