Erin Napier Shares Sweet Message From her Daughters
By Movieguide® Contributor
HOME TOWN’s Erin Napier just shared a sweet drawing of her daughters, who are best friends “forever.”
Napier posted a picture of a drawing made by eldest daughter Helen, 6, that shows her and sister Mae, 3, hand in hand.
“Frinds [sic],” the drawing reads. “I [heart] Mae.”
Napier captioned the post, “Forever.”
Helen and Mae are the best of friends, and Napier often shares stories about their relationship.
Shortly after Mae’s birth, Napier and husband Ben remarked on Helen’s reaction to becoming a big sister, saying, “While we are excited to have another daughter to love, we are more excited to see the bond she and Helen will have. They’re already so in love with each other!”
In an Instagram post from 2023, Napier shared a sweet snap of the daughters at a dance recital, writing, “All of a sudden, they’re becoming a team.”
“Mae was cheering in the front row, and Helen was squinting into the spotlight, smiling and waving from the stage for her baby sister who called back, ‘HEY SISSY!’ As they watched the younger ballerinas do their rehearsal, Helen whispered to Mae, ‘you can be up there one day.’ It’s fascinating to watch siblings become friends,” Napier wrote.
Movieguide® previously reported on Napier’s thoughts on watching her daughters grow up:
Like many parents, Erin Napier is experiencing the bittersweetness that comes with watching your children grow up.
The HGTV star shared her thoughts in a recent Instagram post with a photo of her 3-year-old daughter Mae wearing a unicorn costume.
Napier wrote, “I saw a ‘last time’ and knew it: the passed down 2T unicorn costume they loved that I got at Dirt Cheap for $3 was worn for the last time this week,” the HOME TOWN host explained. “It’s comforting to capture it, for some reason. ? We’re losing her babyness but getting real, sweet, thoughtful conversations in exchange.”
Erin and husband Ben Napier have two daughters, Helen, 6, and Mae, 3.
“[Motherhood] feels like sand in my hands: I want to hold every single piece of it, but I just can’t,” Erin said previously.
