NOTHING BUT A WINNER, a new documentary about the Alabama Crimson Tide football program, will feature longtime coach Nick Saban and Super Bowl Champion and former Alabama quarterback, Jalen Hurts.

NOTHING BUT A WINNER chronicles “the rise of the greatest college football program in the history of the sport.”

“But behind the ruthless competition in the Southeastern Conference and Alabama’s staggering number of National Championships lies a deeper story: the making of men. At the heart of Alabama’s dynasty are two coaching giants — Bear Bryant and Coach Nick Saban — who, in very different eras, built a culture defined not just by winning, but by relentless transformation,” Fathom Entertainment’s description reads.

The documentary will be released with Fathom Entertainment and is executive produced by Marlon Humphrey, “a former All-American defensive back under Saban and four-time Pro Bowler currently with the Baltimore Ravens,” per a press release.

The documentary will honor the lasting impact Bryant and Saban made on football and culture.

“Bryant, coaching during the height of the Civil Rights Movement, led the charge to integrate the team in the deeply segregated South, setting a precedent that would ripple far beyond football,” Fathom explained. “Decades later, Saban would inherit and evolve that culture, demanding total commitment from young athletes and entrusting his program’s future to its first Black freshman starting quarterback on the sport’s biggest stage. Told through the first-hand accounts of players who lived it.”

“Coach Bryant would be the person I think is the greatest coach of all time,” Saban said in a press release. “He won playing conventional football. He won running the wishbone. He won having a passing-type offense when he had those kinds of players. “But I think about the things he established from an intangible standpoint — discipline, toughness, people being responsible to do their job. I’ve always heard how his leadership helped his players be more successful at whatever they chose to do.”

“For me, living out this legacy isn’t just about what I do on the field, it’s about who I am off it, too,” Humphrey added. “I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to represent something bigger than myself: the values, the work ethic, and the resilience that were passed down to me at Alabama, and that I am now living in the NFL. I feel a responsibility to turn around and challenge and support the next generation, which I am excited to do with this film.”

Caleb Castille (NCIS: LOS ANGELES), former defensive back who played under Saban, will serve as a producer for the documentary.

He shared the trailer on Instagram, writing, “Getcha popcorn ready!! 🍿🏈 Proud to announce our feature documentary NOTHING BUT A WINNER — the official story of Alabama football!
