LITTLE PEOPLE, BIG WORLD star Jeremy Roloff is celebrating his sobriety — and encouraging others to give it a try.

“I quit drinking 3.5 years ago,” he wrote in a recent Instagram video. “Here’s why you should run the experiment.”

In the caption of his video, Roloff shared some of the benefits of cutting out alcohol, from “better sleep” to “less anxiety.”

He also said going sober has given him “more confidence,” adding, “There’s something powerful about knowing you don’t need a substance to enjoy social gatherings (the idea that you do is a total lie).”

“Like I said, it just may be worth the experiment,” Roloff concluded. “Do it for science!”

Roloff and his wife Audrey made headlines in 2018 when they announced they would no longer appear on LITTLE PEOPLE, BIG WORLD.

“It has been an amazing run, and I can’t say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride. We have the most loyal fans on TV and we appreciate every one of you. You are what made doing this so fun,” he wrote in an Instagram post.

Roloff continued, “We will still be supporting the family as they carry the #LPBW torch onward. This is a decision concerning Audrey and me specifically – the show must go on!”

He and Audrey are parents to Ember, 8, Bode, 6, Radley, 4, and Mirabella, 2.

In a 2023 Instagram post, Audrey opened up about how, no matter how overwhelming things can get, she tries to stay in the moment as a parent.

“These are the days,” she wrote. “Yes, these days are often long, exhausting, repetitive, demanding, and chaotic… but also full of wonder, awe, joy, laughter, learning, gratitude, and the beauty of simplicity. We truly are cherishing these days of our kids being little.”

Audrey added, “Having kids ages 3+ has been so fun for Jeremy and I because we both have always had a passion for preserving childhood. I think the childlike freedom that we saw in each other was one of the things that drew us together initially. Since becoming parents, we have longed for the days of giving our kids a magical childhood full of play, time in nature, building and creating, working together, being together, and learning by doing. It was a huge heart behind why we wanted property for our family, and we are so grateful to be here in this season.”

Whether it’s prioritizing sobriety or making the decision to step out of the spotlight, the Roloffs are putting family first.
