Ex-Psychic Warns Against Being ‘Led Astray’ By Occult Elements

Former medium Jenn Nizza warns Christians against the dangers of the occult, no matter how harmless some of it might seem.

“We need to discipline people on this,” she told the Christian Post. “So many Christians are being led astray — not because they’re evil, but because they’re uninformed. The enemy is a master of smoke and mirrors. He’s not going to show up with horns. He’s going to look like your best friend, your therapist, your guide.”

Nizza shared that she first got involved in the occult when her mother hosted a psychic party where attendees received tarot readings. From there, she got involved in numerology, astrology and psychic mediumship.

“I believed I was helping people. I really did,” she explained. “I wanted to be a light. But the devil preys on people who want to do good.”

One night, she called out to Jesus and “peace flooded” her. Now, she is an evangelist and writer, warning others about the dangers of the occult.

“There’s still spiritual warfare. That never goes away,” Nizza said. “But I have peace now. Real peace. I belong to Christ.”

She concluded, “Jesus is enough. No amount of power or knowledge or identity you think you’re gaining from the occult will ever satisfy. But Jesus will.”

Nizza spoke to CBN about the dangers of thinking of yourself as a psychic, explaining, “Information is being downloaded by demons when you are getting psychic information. What she’s talking about is psychic information that a lot of people have had…I was doing it for years, and it’s literally demons feeding you this information.”

“This is not built into us,” she continued. “This is not a gift from God, and we weren’t born as psychics.”

Nizza also posts online about her mission to share the dangers of engaging with the occult.

“Let’s not waste precious time. The truth must be told,” she wrote on Instagram. “Jesus is coming back and there is a spiritual battle going on, and that means that the devil is working hard to keep souls away from Jesus. The devil is a liar. His schemes and ideologies present as light, and innocuous but they are far from it! Please stay away from psychics. They are not talking to ‘spirit’. They are talking to demons pretending. I pray you don’t spend as many years as I did deceived.”
