In GREAT AMERICAN RESCUE BOWL, the channel showcases adorable rescued cats and dogs and heart-warming adoption stories. It premieres Feb. 9 at 12 p.m. PT.
In the true story AVERAGE JOE, Eric Close stars as a football coach who fights to express his faith. It’s available now on Pure Flix.
COUNTY RESCUE Season 1 focused on a young EMT trainee, Dani. Season 2 gives viewers a closer look at the EMTs as they navigate their work and personal lives. It’s supposed to premiere this month.
“Season one was really about getting to know the characters and the dynamics among them,” said actor Brett Varvel. “In season two, we dive much deeper into their personal struggles, dreams, and what they stand for. Each character will have to make choices between what’s easy and what’s right, which are not always the same.”
“It’s got everything that you would want to see again in season two: the rescue calls, some danger, excitement, comedy, love, romance, family and all kinds of different great things like that,” he continued. “But what I love is, it’s something that the whole family can watch, but also makes them think. Families will have some really deep conversations after watching each episode and wrestling with, how would they respond if they were in that situation. What does the Bible have to say about this? All of those things come out of season two.”
