DUCK DYNASTY star Sadie Robertson Huff says instead of caving in to fear, you should take it and run with it.

“I used to think my fear disqualified me or excused me from having to run the race the Lord set out for me,” Huff explained.

But then she realized her fear means that she’s a part of the race, because the only people who don’t feel that fear are the ones in the stands.

She learned, “there is a reason God said ‘do not fear’ to so many people so many times — because they were afraid!”

“That fear in them didn’t stop God from calling them to big things. It’s okay and even human to be afraid — just don’t let that stop you,” she wrote. “If you have to run with it — RUN WITH THE FEAR 🤍 you’re in the race!

She reminded her audience that God has called them.

“It’s easy to ‘live fearless’ when you don’t do anything that challenges you or requires faith. Living fearless isn’t the goal…Living with faith is!” she said.

Huff has struggled with anxiety most of her life. Part of changing how she looks at fear meant becoming more vulnerable, especially as someone in the public eye.

“The minute I allow God to use my failures I began to see the fullness of who He is,” she explained. “If my failures bring Him glory, I will gladly make them known.”

Huff speaks extensively about her battle with fear in her book, Live Fearless: A Call to Power, Passion, and Purpose.

Scripture helps ease her anxiety. She shared in 2017, “Coming from someone who battled with anxiety for a rough 2 years I cling tight to verses like this: Proverbs 3:24 ‘When you lie down, you will not be afraid; When you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.’”

“Night time would sometimes be the time when I was most fearful, because I would think about every single possibility and situation that could happen,” she continued. “Tonight I Rest In Peace with the unity of the Spirit taking courage and praying for my heart, not for my situations.”

Today, people all over the world struggle with fear and anxiety more than ever before. It’s important that we remember who is in control — God. No matter how bad it gets, he is the one who gives peace.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33.
