HGTV Gives Good News for HELP! I WRECKED MY HOUSE

By Movieguide® Contributor

Fans of HGTV’s Jasmine Roth should get excited because the network has approved her show HELP! I WRECKED MY HOUSE for a fourth season.

The show follows Roth as she saves homeowners who got a little too ambitious with their home makeovers. They have left themselves without a fully functioning home and have eaten through their fixer-upper budget. Using her knack for home-design, Roth saves the day – actualizing her clients’ dream home.

Roth has been posting behind-the-scenes updates for season four since February and while the show does not have a set release date, it is expected to premiere sometime this fall.

Fans of Roth, however, don’t have to wait for season four to see Roth in action. She competed on HGTV’s BARBIE DREAMHOUSE CHALLENGE. Roth and her partner Antonia Lofaso – from Food Network – created a ‘60s Barbie-themed kitchen.

Viewers can also catch up on HELP! I WRECKED MY HOUSE or Roth’s previous show HIDDEN POTENTIAL Discovery+ or Max.

HGTV often has positive family shows including HOME TOWN with Ben and Erin Napier and FIXER TO FABULOUS with Dave and Jenny Marrs.

Movieguide® previously reported on HGTV:

The Home and Garden Television channel, aka HGTV, will change their upcoming programming to reflect the “nations fragile economic state,” Variety reports.

“It’s just about being more real and not ignoring what’s going on in the talent’s life,” HGTV president Jane Latman said.

“We recognize the brand is about home, but that doesn’t mean it’s just about home renovation. It’s about looking at renovation through a family dynamic. Not everyone is going to need the same thing. You can go into the relationship in a family – what people need, how they live, and how our experts can design renovations around that,” Latman continued.

“We wanted to see where we could stretch and what was too far,” Latman said. “Do we want more humor in an hour show? What’s too much humor? Can we have an ending where somebody doesn’t buy that house?”
