Jen Lilley Dishes on Her Christmas Favorites and an Exciting Project

By Movieguide® Contributor

Actress Jen Lilley is sharing some of her Christmas favorites, as well as updating fans on an exciting new project.

During an Instagram Live with actor Brad Deiter, Lilley picked some of her favorite Christmas items.

Her favorite Christmas drink? “Hot chocolate, of course,” she answered

Lilley picked HOME ALONE as her favorite Christmas movie, saying, “HOME ALONE for the win. It’s the best!”

When it came time to pick her favorite Christmas song, though, the actress had trouble choosing.

“That’s one harder,” she said. “Maybe ‘Silent Night’?” then added, “I don’t know that there’s a Christmas song I don’t like.”

Lilley shares her love of Christmas through her work as an actress, often appearing in Christmas movies. Her most recent holiday movie? A LITTLE WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS.

Lilley also spoke about one of her new projects, an organization called Raise The Reel.

“It’s a solution not only for filmmakers, but it gives the opportunity for you, the fans, to be in the movies that you love,” she told Deiter.

Raise The Reel’s website explains the process further: “At Raise the Reel, we revolutionize the way films are funded and produced. Imagine a platform where aspiring filmmakers can turn their creative visions into reality while engaging fans like never before. Our unique crowdfunding model empowers filmmakers to connect directly with their audience, offering backers guaranteed opportunities to be a part of the magic.”

“Whether it’s a cameo, a behind-the-scenes experience, exclusive merchandise, or even the chance to guarantee your spot in a movie, our supporters don’t just fund a project; they become part of the story,” the site continued.

The company’s first project is HOLIDAY HEARTS, a movie about “a heart surgeon [who] encounters a terminally ill man who helps her understand love, healing, and the spirit of Christmas while she runs the local hospital,” per IMDb.
