Jen Lilley Announces Exciting Opportunity for Fans

During a Christmastime update, Jen Lilley announced an exciting opportunity for her fans, along with an update about her holiday movies this year.
“I have been waiting for this day for, like, six weeks. I have been planning the craziest thing behind closed doors, and I’m gonna drop all the details right here, right now on this Instagram live. I’m so pumped…” Lilley said in a recent livestream. “It’s now open, this [web]site called Raise the Reel, and here’s what it does: You now have the opportunity to be in a Christmas movie with me, probably way more movies with me, but our very first campaign is a Christmas movie.”
“I am doing a movie called HOLIDAY HEARTS. It has two Golden Globe-nominated actors attached, I can’t necessarily say all the actors that are attached yet, but I can just tell you that I am losing my mind at the other actors that I get to work with, and I know as soon as I’m allowed to announce who the other actors are, you guys are gonna lose your minds too,” she continued.
“But, hopefully, because you follow me, you’ll be really excited about the opportunity to be in this movie with me. This script is phenomenal, and we think it’s gonna have both a theatrical release in movie theaters as well as streaming. It’s a really elevated script which is why it has brought on such an incredible cast.”
Raise the Reel provides an amazing opportunity for both aspiring moviemakers and mega fans. The initiative allows everyday people to join Hollywood productions, from acting roles to producing roles. The program also gives 10% of its proceeds back to charity. For HOLIDAY HEARTS, Raise the Reel will contribute to organ donation charities, given the storyline of the movie.
“I play a heart surgeon whose name is Silver who basically goes back to her hometown, and she is the director of this hospital where she has to organize this hospital,” Lilley explained. “One of her first jobs is she has to go over the organ transplant list, and she sees this organ transplant guy that’s just on the list, and he asks to get taken off the list, but my character is like, ‘Why? Because he’s in perfect health and he’s literally next on the list. Let me go see what’s going on with him.’ And so of course then I meet my leading man, and he’s gorgeous, and we fall in love, and I have to convince him that life is worth living and, you know, things ensue, but literally I wept, I laughed and wept when I read this movie the script is so good. That is why it has attracted two Golden Globe-nominated actors…it’s just so good.”
Along with Raise the Reel, Lilley also announced that she has three Christmas movies releasing before the end of the year.
“I have three Christmas movies coming out this year,” Lilley said. “OPERATION MISTLETOE is a comedy with me and Nick Bateman and it is now available on Hulu…I have PARIS CHRISTMAS WALTZ which is, honestly guys, my favorite movie ever, it’s now available on Netflix… and then of course I have A LITTLE WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS which is a modern-day retelling of Little Women, I play the oldest sister Meg, that is premiering on Great American Family on November, 23rd.”

A PARIS CHRISTMAS WALTZ won Movieguide®’s Teddy Bear Award® thanks to its “Strong moral worldview.”
PARIS CHRISTMAS WALTZ stands out from other Christmas romances. Director Michael Damian brings lots of pizzazz to the movie in the vibrant dance numbers, abetted by a lush score by Nathan Lanier. It’s a joy to watch Jen Lilley and Matthew Morrison, as Emma and Leo, work their magic on the dance floor and in a fun dance routine with a street band. A powerful rendition of “O Holy Night” frames the movie’s climactic, impressive dance number. A PARIS CHRISTMAS WALTZ also mentions answered prayer, God and the Baby Jesus in Nativity displays.
