Golden Globe winner Paul Walter Hauser and his wife, Amy Boland Hauser, just welcomed their third child.
“🎀 Isla Grace Hauser 🎀 July 20 | 8lbs 3oz | 20 in | Born at 2:43 am,” the couple posted on Instagram alongside photos of them with their new baby.
“She arrived 6 years and 1 day after our first date — a sweet, full-circle reminder of God’s perfect timing,” the Hausers continued.
The mom and dad explained the sweet meaning behind her name.
“Isla, a name of calm and peace — a tranquil isle where worries cease,” they wrote. “Her name whispers of gentle waves, depth, and a soothing light, a haven bright and serene, wild as the sea. A soft heart, a kind soul — an island of joy, a soul to fill.”
“Grace, a name so soft, so kind — a heart of goodness and a giving mind. A quiet strength, a calming way, she is a beacon of hope, a gentle embrace. The very picture of God’s unmerited favor and love,” they added.
The couple included John 1:16, a verse that emphasizes God’s grace: “From His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.”
“We’re completely in awe of this little girl and so grateful the Lord chose us to be her parents,” the Hausers concluded. “Welcome to the world, Isla Grace. You are already so deeply loved.”
The couple, who wed in 2020, are already parents to sons Harris, 3, and Jonah, 2. And for Paul, being a dad is No. 1, telling PEOPLE last year he wants to be “around for a long time for my kids and my wife.”

As the Hausers prepared to welcome Isla Grace, they created a nursery for her that emphasizes faith.
“From the soothing ocean mural behind her crib that speaks to calmness and depth, to the gentle blush tones woven throughout the room, every choice was made to cultivate an atmosphere of serenity and grace,” Amy wrote in a post on Instagram. “The sweet affirmations and Scripture-inspired banners on the walls serve as daily reminders of who she is and Whose she is, even before she’s old enough to read them.”
“It’s become more than just a pretty room; it’s a sanctuary where we’ll rock her to sleep, whisper prayers over her, and watch her little personality bloom,” she continued. “I hope this space always feels like a safe haven — one that not only brings her comfort but also constantly points her back to the peace and joy found in the One who created her.”
It’s wonderful to see a Hollywood couple committed to raising their children for the Lord.
