Former Disney star star Tiffany Bates trust in God is steadfast.

“Nothing is an emergency to God. God knows all our fears,” she shared in an Instagram post. “You don’t think He knows our bills?”

“The gas prices? The thoughts keeping us up all night? The future of your children?” Bates, who’s married to BRINGING UP BATES’ Lawson Bates, continued.

God knows, and He cares.

She shared Psalms 51:10-12 and said, “Sometimes when we pray, we expect God to respond the way people in our lives have responded to us: two-faced, cold, uncaring, fake, and lying. Then I just remind myself of the attributes of God: unchanging, faithful, good, truthful, merciful, and full of love. God isn’t like people. He’s omniscient.”

So when she feels stressed, she remembers who her father is.

“He isn’t stressed, and He hasn’t forgotten me 🦋” Bates said.

Bates, who has starred in shows since she was 7, hasn’t acted in a while. Her priority now is being a follower of God, a wife and mom to her two young boys.

“Everything comes and goes in your life — people, jobs, opportunities — but Jesus is the one thing that will remain constant,” she shared on the “Jesus Calling” podcast. “He’s with you through it all. The encouragement my mom always gave me when I was like, ‘Oh, what do I do with my life? Where am I supposed to go?’ She always said, ‘Your identity and purpose is in Jesus — that is first and foremost.’”

When she acted, she chose her roles with integrity and kept in mind that she represents Christ.

“My faith always comes first in everything that I do,” Bates told Liberty University in 2017. “In the roles I choose and the auditions I go on, I am very careful because I know that I represent Christ.”

“Living in Hollywood has actually increased my faith,” she continued. “I find myself hanging onto Jesus more tightly. (Being on set) has helped me to really dig deeper into my faith; I’m dependent on Him more.”

Bastes is grateful to God for her career and everything that He’s given her.

“We try to control things and we try to be like God, because that is how we were born,” she said. “But as you get older with your career, life, friends, and relationships, it is just important to trust God and know that He has immeasurably more (in store) than we can imagine. For me, it is just trusting God and knowing that He is good in all seasons.”

When our fears arise, remember that God is in control.
