COUNTY RESCUE star Julia Reilly says her character’s Season 3 journey is all about trusting in God’s plan.
“I truly do feel like there’s so much similarity between myself and Dani. It’s wild,” she told Movieguide® of her character. “We’re now coming up on three years that I’ve had the blessing of working on this show, and I feel like I’ve grown up on this show alongside Dani.”
Reilly plays Dani, “a rookie EMT” who is still looking for “a field that is a good fit for both her talents and her parent’s high expectations,” according to Pure Flix’s website. “Having dabbled in many fields, it’s not until she hears God’s voice calling her to become a first responder that she feels confident in her career choice.”

“She’s navigating trying to figure out her place as an adult, and I think that’s something a lot of people, a lot of young adults, struggle with and feel and, you know, just trying to listen to God and trust Him to guide their path, but you know, we can’t predict what He has in store for us,” Reilly explained, adding, “In Season 3, you really feel a new sense of growth and maturity and stability in Danny, and I think I can totally relate to that place in my life as well.”
Another way Reilly relates to Dani? Her faith.
“Faith is the most important part of my own life and being rooted in that and walking hand-in-hand with God, moment to moment, is of the utmost importance to me,” she shared. “I don’t take it for granted that I get to work on a show with faith at its core…it’s really special.”
COUNTY RESCUE is one of Great American Family’s most popular shows. Episode 2.5 of the series was nominated for the 2026 Movieguide® Faith & Freedom Award® For Television and Streaming.
