COUNTY RESCUE, a faith-based medical drama series from Great American Family, has been renewed for a third season!
Season 3 will premiere on May 17, 2026, and stars Julia Reilly, Riley Hough and Brett Varvel.
COUNTY RESCUE follows EMTs and paramedics who balance the high-pressure demands of emergency response work with their personal struggles and lives. The logline for the series reads, “In COUNTY RESCUE, Dani (Reilly) and the other EMTs in training are courageous, everyday heroes. But with only one opening for three trainees, Dani’s faith in herself is tested each and every call. Dani believes her calling is to save lives. Now, she has to prove it.”
It was unclear if the show would continue after lead Keller Fornes died unexpectedly in 2024. The Season 2 finale was his last appearance on the show.

GAF announced the news to Instagram as well.
“We are THIS excited for Season 3 of County Rescue to return! 🚑 🚨🎬” the caption read alongside a video of Reilly and Varvel hopping out of the back of an ambulence. “Stream the Season 3 premiere of COUNTY RESCUE May 14th on Great American Pure Flix 📺 Tune in May 17th at 8/7c on Great American Family and GFam+”
People in the comment section gave a positive response. “It’s most definitely my favorite so excited,” one fan said. Another added, “I’m ready for Season three! I love the show and such a great cast!! Ready set….go!!!!👉”
Movieguide® reviewed several episodes from the previous season of COUNTY RESCUE, all of which received highly positive ratings.
The review of season 2 episode 5 reads, “Episode 5 of COUNTY RESCUE: Season 2 is one of COUINTY RESCUE’s most dramatic episodes. All the conflicts and problems in the team come to a head. The logjam is broken when the team learns that their captain, Andy, who’s always been there for them, now needs them to be there for him.”
Movieguide® notes, “Episode 5 of COUNTY RESCUE: Season 2 has a strong Christian, moral worldview. It promotes faith, prayer, forgiveness, compassion, marriage, strength through unity, and patience while waiting on the Lord.”
