John Krasinski will return to write, direct and produce A QUIET PLACE PART III.

The actor, who starred in the first QUIET PLACE movie, shared on Instagram that the fourth installment in the franchise will debut on July 9, 2027.

Krasinski and Allyson Seeger’s Sunday Night Productions, as well as Platinum Dunes, are set to produce A QUIET PLACE PART III.

The franchise, which includes the Krasinski-directed A QUIET PLACE and A QUIET PLACE PART II and the Michael Sarnoski-directed spinoff A QUIET PLACE: DAY ONE, has grossed over $900 million worldwide.

Movieguide® nominated A QUIET PLACE for a Teddy Bear Award® in 2019, thanks to its “Strong redemptive, moral worldview.” Part of the review reads:

A QUIET PLACE keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. John Krasinski provides great direction, from his brilliant use of style to the cast’s winning performances. The simple story seamlessly transitions between thrills and emotional moments. Everything’s grounded in the positive relationships among the Abbott family. Themes of love and protection provide a refreshing, healthy depiction of family bonds. The suspense isn’t for the faint of heart. Even so, A QUIET PLACE is a strong allegory for parenting and “training a child in the way they should go.”

Movieguide® also nominated PART II for the award.

There is no confirmed cast for PART III, and the plot line is under wraps; however, Variety says it’s safe to assume that it involves “alien creatures with very sharp hearing, and human beings who have to evade them on tiptoe while using their inside voices.”

Krasinski’s latest work has been off the screen and on the stage. This summer, he starred in the hit play, ANGRY ALAN.

“Roger is divorced, demoted, and drifting — lost in an era that no longer makes sense. But when an online personality promises clarity, Roger dives in without looking back,” a synopsis of the play reads. “Timely, provocative, and darkly comedic, ANGRY ALAN explores one man’s journey down the digital rabbit hole — examining how far he’s willing to go, and how much he’s prepared to lose, for validation in a world where ‘everybody’s changing the rules.'”

Krasinski took to social media to thank the cast, crew and audience members.

“To each and every one of you who saw this show. Who let this show in. I am forever grateful. Thank you for the support. For the memories. And for the conversation! This show is something I will never forget!” he wrote.

Krasinski’s fans can’t wait to see what he has planned for A QUIET PLACE PART III.
