Kirk Cameron Encourages Parents To ‘Get In The Fight’: ‘Your God Is Eager To Use You’

Kirk Cameron recently wrapped up a tour across America, promoting his latest children’s book, and shared observations about the people he met on tour.
“Families have been pouring into my events by the hundreds, even the thousands,” he said. “When I speak to these people, I share the timeless value of biblical wisdom and the ‘Fruit of the Spirit’ with children and their parents. I warm the room, shine the light by reading stories to spellbound audiences from my new book, ‘As You Grow.’
Following his readings, Cameron said that many parents would come up and talk to him, sharing their desire to return to “wholesome, God-honoring, pro-American values.”
The actor and author emphasized the importance of community, then shared some Scripture to encourage parents:
“Train up your children in the way they should go. Husbands, love your wives. Wives, honor your husbands. Love God and one another sincerely, from the heart. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Honor one another above yourselves. Don’t be lazy, but work hard. Rejoice in hope . . . be patient in trouble . . . and keep on praying. Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.” (Proverbs 22:6; Ephesians 5: 25,33; Romans 12:9-21)
“If you’re a parent, if you long for a return to wholesome, God-honoring values . . . if you want to salvage this country and its biblical values for your children . . . stop complaining about the culture,” he explained.
Cameron continued, “Instead, be brave and start creating the culture you want for your children. Lead by example. Show your kids and grandkids what genuine faith and moral integrity look like. Steel your God-given backbone.”
He encouraged parents to let their love for their kids “conquer your fears,” and shared that the home should be used as a “safe place to lovingly uproot the power of evil…plant seeds of truth, beauty and goodness.”
“Pray up, speak up, and get in the fight now,” Cameron concluded. “Embrace your children; warm your country; Your God is eager to use you.”

Kirk Cameron and Sheriff Mark Lamb highlighted their recent book event in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Cameron stated that the event was by far, “the most faith-filled, family-friendly and patriotic event so far.”
Cameron spoke to over 600-plus people including a high school choir to which they all said the Pledge of Allegiance and then sang ‘God Bless America.’
Lamb stated, “We talked openly about proven solutions to our country’s problems (including the border crisis), returning to good and godly values, and the importance of searching for the truth.”
Cameron felt as if the families of Arizona need hope and encouragement which on Friday they were given. He spoke on the fact that families are watching companies, films, and TV shows promote ungodly and immoral values.
He stated that certain products “are unbuyable for families that want to support traditional values — the values that made this country the greatest country on earth.”
“Families were given a glimmer of hope — hope that they are not the minority but the majority, and we can’t give up,” Cameron stated on Friday.
“Today was a steroid shot to the arm to keep going. God will win in the end, and we just have to trust him,” he added.
