Reality star Kourtney Kardashian recently revealed she’s been sober for the past three years.
“@Khloudfoods @KhloeKardashian def told them I haven’t drank alcohol in 3 years,” she wrote in a recent Instagram Story, where she was served a mocktail at sister Khloe Kardashian’s new Khloud popcorn flavor launch.
While Kourtney has been private about her decision to stop drinking, she had previously spoken about going alcohol-free while trying to get pregnant.
During a 2022 episode of THE KARDASHIANS, she revealed she was undergoing IVF treatment and had stopped consuming alcohol and caffeine. She would later stop IVF treatment, conceiving son Rocky, born in 2023, naturally with husband Travis Barker.

Kourtney isn’t the only member of the famous family to get sober. Scott Disick, her ex-partner and father of children Mason, 16, Penelope, 13, and Reign, 11, has been open about his own struggles with alcohol abuse.
“The truth is, I do explain to Mason how drinking affected me and how badly it put me in certain places, and he knows that,” Disick said during a 2025 episode of “Khloe in Wonderland.”
He explained that he wants to keep an eye out for any “hereditary” issues with alcohol abuse, adding, “I talk to him all the time about it and I’m just like it could take you down a really bad road.”
Khloe’s own ex-husband, former basketball player Lamar Odom, also dealt with substance abuse issues, which ultimately led to their divorce.
“I do believe addiction is a disease,” she said in a 2025 episode of THE KARDASHIANS. “I really, really do…the truth is: No one can really save someone from that except for that own individual.”
Kim Kardashian is also known for her largely alcohol-free lifestyle, with an anonymous source telling PEOPLE in 2018, “She drinks here and there, but mostly abstains. She may have a glass of champagne on a holiday or for someone’s birthday, but it’s rare.”
“She’s not a partier and it’s just not part of her life,” another source added. “Occasionally she’ll have a drink, but she really doesn’t like the taste of alcohol.”
They continued, “None of the sisters do — and none of them go really crazy. They’re very conscious of their image, Kim especially. They don’t like to lose control. Kim definitely had her years of partying…[but] her life is completely different now.”
Whether it’s helping a partner through their sobriety journey or trying an alcohol-free lifestyle themselves, the Kardashians know the importance of maintaining a healthy relationship with alcohol.
