Mediawan Kids & Family and NFT brand Claynosaurz Inc. have partnered up to co-produce an animated series based on Claynosaurz’s popular cartoon dinosaurs.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Claynosaurz team and bring this globally successful digital franchise to an even wider audience,” Julian Borde, the president of Mediawan Kids & Family, said in a statement. “Children and parents around the world will love rediscovering or exploring this original universe created by an incredible team of talents. This is a major step in Mediawan Kids & Family’s development and diversification, paving the way for a new lineup of premium content that is increasingly aligned with the needs of our partners.”
Claynosaurz creator Nicholas Cabana also released a statement, saying, “Partnering with Mediawan Kids & Family is a huge milestone for us….This collaboration is more than a series — it’s a statement about where the future of storytelling is headed, and we’re proud to be helping lead that charge alongside the people who believed in us from the beginning.”
The YouTube series, aimed at kids 6 to 12, will follow four dinosaur friends as they go on adventures. Thirty-nine episodes have been ordered, with each one running seven minutes long. Jesse Cleverly, co-founder and creative director of Wildseed Studios, will serve as showrunner.
In an interview with Variety, Borde said, “I think it’s the very first time a digital collectible brand is expanded into a TV series so it’s a milestone, not just for Mediawan Kids & Family but for the industry.”

Borde explained that the partnership with Claynosaurz allows Mediawan to continue to “empower talents all around the world.” He also praised the Claynosaurz team, saying they “are really into animation, have done fantastic shows in the past and are trying to do things a different way.”
Cabana told Variety that Mediawan “immediately understood the tone, warmth and irreverent humour that define Claynosaurz, and share our belief that great franchises can emerge from unexpected places,” adding, “This type of community-driven development isn’t just different, it’s necessary.”
This partnership with Claynosaurz isn’t the only major move Mediawan Kids & Family has made lately. The company recently inked a series of distribution deals for TWISTED, their latest animated feature.
“The response to TWISTED has been truly enthusiastic,” Solveig Langeland, Managing Director at Sola Media, the company handling the international sales for Mediawan, said, per Deadline.
Langeland continued, “Buyers are drawn not only to the breathtaking Italian setting, but also to the film’s timely and universal theme of truth versus lies and its consequences, all wrapped in a fun, heartfelt adventure. We’re thrilled with the strong sales and excited by the global appeal the film is generating.”
There’s no word yet on when the series will launch, but fans of the Claynosaurz brand will no doubt be excited to see how Mediawan brings the popular characters to life.
