Netflix Cancels Obscene Cartoon BIG MOUTH

By Movieguide® Contributor

Netflix announced that the adult animated shows BIG MOUTH and spinoff HUMAN RESOURCES are both coming to an end.

Season seven of the pornographic and immoral BIG MOUTH releases later this year and will end with season eight next year. Spinoff show, HUMAN RESOURCES, which is much of the same excessive content, is ending later this year after its second season.

Movieguide® condemns Netflix for packaging adult and immoral content into a show alluring to children.

The messages relayed in the show are harmful for adults to consume as well, promoting immorality and predatorial behavior. Netflix continues to lose subscribers among its push for hyperviolent and sexual content.

In the last month alone, searches for “cancel netflix” have surged to more than 700 percent. While some of the increase in cancellations are due to Netflix’s crackdown on password sharing, but more households would be inclined to keep their subscriptions if Netflix offered more family-oriented content and less trash like BIG MOUTH.

Movieguide® previously reported:

Netflix continues to push immoral and vile content. Recently, Parents Television Council president Tim Winter condemned the animated series BIG MOUTH as a “pornographic” cartoon that puts “millions of children” in danger.

“Netflix needs to be hit and hit hard for airing a pornographic cartoon series called BIG MOUTH,” Winter wrote in a recent press release. “It is the most utterly sickening ‘entertainment’ I’ve seen in my 40 years in this industry—and dangerous to the millions of children who view it or the adults who may be encouraged to act-out because of it. …

“BIG MOUTH is mental poison, and it is potentially fuel for child predators,” Winter notes, adding examples of some of the series content: “The plots in BIG MOUTH center around middle-school children entering puberty. The first five minutes of the very first episode show a close-up of a 13-year-old boy’s private parts. Another episode shows a girl talking to her private parts.”

Other things that happen in the show are too vial to share here.

Winter called for legal action to be taken against Netflix, claiming that BIG MOUTH “checks the boxes defining ‘child pornography.’”

The animated sitcom debuted on Netflix in 2017. However, BIG MOUTH is not the only cartoon that relishes the immoral and is easily accessible by anyone who can operate a remote.
