Evangelist Nick Vujicic Explains How God Uses Our Stories to Share the Gospel

Evangelist Nick Vujicic explains how God uses our stories to share the life-changing impact of the gospel with the world.
“I am so blessed to first of all say that, yes, you don’t need arms and legs to stand in front of the gates of hell and redirect traffic,” he told TBN.
Vujicic was born without arms or legs. While he struggled to understand God’s plan for his life as a kid, he eventually realized, “If God has a plan for a blind man, God’s got a plan for me.”
“When you have found the truth of really your value and your purpose and your destiny, it’s not just about finding God; it’s not just about asking God, ‘God show me your plan;’ it’s not even just fulfilling the plan that God has for you and those around you; it’s about the world,” he continued.
“When you find Jesus, all you want to do is help others to know that Jesus is the answer. And so, I talk about how you don’t need to have a title or necessarily a ministry organization to be an evangelist,” Vujicic added. “We all have a story, and our history is His story. He’s the author, and we’re the storyteller to help others know that God loves them, too. And not just talk the talk, but walk the walk.”
Vujicic knows the power and hope found in Jesus as well as anyone. Due to his condition, he grew up wondering why God made him different from everyone else. “The victory over his struggles, as well as his strength and passion for life today, can be credited to his faith in God,” his website reads. “His family, friends and the many people he has encountered along the journey have inspired him to carry on.”
Emboldened by his faith in Christ, Vujicic has turned a weakness into a strength, using his disability to inspire others to what God can do in their life. He founded NickV Ministries (NVM) in 2005 to further the Gospel worldwide.
Since its founding, NVM has inspired over 1 million people to give their lives to Christ through the nonprofit’s live outreach events, prison ministries and digital ministry. Vujicic, however, is just getting started and hopes to share the gospel with 1 billion people by 2028.

In a recent I AM SECOND video, Christian and motivational speaker Nick Vujicic shared his inspirational story.
“I love my life,” he opened the video. “As you can see, I have no arms and no legs. And it’s not like one day I went to school and then kids tease me and told me that I had no arms, no legs. I knew I had no arms and legs, but I didn’t think it was such a big deal until the world told me that I was an alien, that I was ugly, that I wasn’t good enough.”
“And when the doctors saw me for the first time, they apologized to my parents that they did not pick it up in the ultrasounds and give them an option to abort me,” he explained. “They were absolutely convinced that I’d never have a quality of life.”
Vujicic described how from age 8 to 13, he experienced deep depression over his condition and even tried to end his life.
