No. 1 in DVD Sales JESUS REVOLUTION Totally ‘Caught Hollywood Off Guard’

JESUS REVOLUTION soared to No. 1 in DVD and Blu-ray sales. In addition, the film reached number one on a separate Blu-ray only chart.
The film totaled more than $50 million in box office sales and remained in the Top 10 for weeks.
The Co-director of JESUS REVOLUTION, Brent McCorkle told Christian Headlines, “I think it caught Hollywood off guard that a drama, a little faith-based drama, did this.”
“I think it’s great for cinema, I think it’s great for the faith market,” he continued.
McCorkle stated, “I think this is a movie that tries to include and tell everybody that they’re loved and that they’re made in the image of God, and that their life has value.”
“If we come together and try to love each other, a lot of this stuff’s gonna get sorted out,” he said, referring to division within society. JESUS REVOLUTION “just kind of doubles down on what I think are the things that we should be focusing on as a culture and also as people of faith.” Those things being kindness, compassion, empathy, and belonging.

JESUS REVOLUTION has earned $39,453,451 at the domestic box office, surpassing the previous record holder, THE HITMAN’S WIFE’S BODYGUARD (2021), which made $38,014,727 domestically.
KNIVES OUT (2019), a murder mystery movie, brought in $165,364,060 domestically.
JESUS REVOLUTION will hit the worldwide box office over the next month, releasing in Singapore, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand.
The movie’s success as Lionsgate’s highest-grossing domestic release in three years shows that Christians will support entertainment that promotes and honors faith and family values.
