Paris Hilton got the approval of two very important people before the launch of her new kids show — her children.
“They were the first test subjects for the show,” Hilton told PEOPLE of the show, PARIS & PUPS. “It was so cute to see every moment that they laughed at or every moment that really captured their attention, and they’ve loved every single episode. It’s made me really happy.”
Hilton shares son Phoenix, 2, and daughter London, 1, with husband Carter Reum.
She continued, “This is such a dream come true, because I’ve been thinking about this animated series since I was literally 5 years old. I always loved cartoons, and it was always a dream just to do one that was based on me and my puppies.”

Hilton added that it was “important” to her that each episode of PARIS & PUPS has “a moral to the story and a lesson to be learned, and something that’s inspiring and just showing love and kindness and spreading sparkle.”
PARIS & PUPS follows the adventures of 12-year-old Paris Star, who goes on adventures with her five talking dogs.
“I always loved cartoons and always loved my puppies so much, and I always thought it’d be so fun to have an animated series based on my life with my dogs,” Hilton told Parents. “And now, with being a mom myself, I really wanted to create a series and content that I could watch with my kids, and something that would be inspirational and teach them about love and kindness and all of the good things.”
In an interview with CNN, the former reality star shared that the show has been “a love project” for her.
“Watching it for the first time, I was literally crying,” she said. “I was like, this is everything I ever dreamed of and more. It exceeded all my expectations. It’s just so fun to watch.”
Hilton continued, “London and Phoenix are the first people who watch the show so every time I get a new episode, we all watch it together with the puppies. And it is the cutest thing, seeing their reactions, how excited they get.”
“We sit and watch it with the puppies, so they’re kind of just looking at me, looking at the puppies, looking at the cartoon, and knowing that this whole cartoon is based on their mom and their puppies,” she told Parents. “It’s pretty special.”
New episodes of PARIS & PUPS drop weekly on YouTube.
