FAST & FURIOUS star Paul Walker died in a tragic car accident over a decade ago, and on the 12th anniversary of his passing, his daughter, Meadow Walker, took to social media to honor her father’s memory.
“12 years without you…I love you forever,” Meadow captioned an Instagram post that included photos of her with her dad in their kitchen as he helped her blow out birthday cake candles.
Walker died on Nov. 30, 2013, at just 40 years old. The car “accident happened a few weeks after Meadow turned 15. Walker and friend Roger Rodas were killed when their 2005 Porsche Carrera GT slammed into a pole and burst into flames,” Deadline reported.

On the anniversary of his death, Walker’s FAST & FURIOUS co-star Vin Diesel shared a photo of the pair, writing, “The universe keeps placing angels in my path. I know you are a part of it… a brotherhood eternal. Love you forever…”
Meadow often shares memories of her dad on her social media page.
“Happy birthday daddy. I love you endlessly and miss you every day,” she wrote in the caption of a Sept. 12 post featuring photo of Walker helping her put her shoes on.
She shared another photo of her dad for Father’s Day.
“Happy Father’s Day to my guardian angel. Thank you for your love, guidance, and for truly being the most incredible dad and my best friend. I miss you every day, my sunshine. I love you,” she expressed.
The FAST & FURIOUS franchise will conclude in 2027, returning to the streets of Los Angeles.
“Last week, during the fires that displaced LA…my sister Jordana reached out to me and said… Please have Universal film the rest of Fast X Part 2 in LA,” Diesel wrote on Instagram earlier this year, confirming the location of the final film. “Los Angeles needs it now more than ever…Los Angeles is where Fast and Furious started filming 25 years ago… and now Fast will finally return home. All love…”
The upcoming 11th installment will serve as a sequel to 2023’s FAST X. Part of Movieguide®’s review reads:
FAST X contains some impressive action sequences. The chase sequence involving the bomb headed to Vatican City is very exciting. FAST X increases the personal stakes in the franchise by having the villain target Dom’s son. Cleverly, the filmmakers link Dom’s protection of his son with overt references to faith and Jesus. The movie promotes family, honor and sacrifice. FAST X has significantly less foul language than recent FAST & FURIOUS movies, but it’s still slightly excessive. So, MOVIEGUIDE® advises extreme caution.
While Walker’s family, friends and fans still miss him, it’s beautiful to see his daughter keep his memory alive.
