‘Praise God’: Kendrick Brothers Share Exciting Updates on THE FORGE

The Kendrick Brothers are so excited to see the impact that their film THE FORGE is making across the world. In a video posted to Facebook, the filmmakers shared some exciting news about their faith-based movie.
“Brazil released THE FORGE, number one opening weekend. It was beating TRANSFORMERS, it was beating, well, everything!” they shared. “Praise God for that!”
They also shared another exciting update. THE FORGE is now available for viewers to watch at home.
“If you want to watch THE FORGE at home, you can! It is being released from now on Amazon, iTunes, Google, a bunch of different digital retailers,” they said. “It is still in theaters across America, but some of you still haven’t seen this movie for whatever reason, and now you can watch it in your home, or in your theater, you’ve got both options.”
The film has overall been highly rated by multiple companies, which the brothers are very excited about. However, there is an even more important achievement that the movie is seeing: changed lives.
“Audiences are loving THE FORGE, so praise God for that. 99% audience Rotten Tomato score, A+ cinema score, praise God for that. But most importantly for us is that live are being changed. We’re seeing young people step up, we’re seeing people forgive their enemies, we’re seeing people heal from the father wound, we’re seeing employers want to dedicate their businesses to God, we’re seeing pastors want to launch into discipleship. Praise God for all the fruit,” they said.

A synopsis of the movie reads, “THE FORGE follows 19-year-old Isaiah, who’s addicted to video games, disrespectful to authority and lazy. Isaiah’s mom forces Isaiah to find a job, and he lands one with Moore Fitness. The company is run by a Christian man named Joshua who wants to mentor Isaiah so he can learn how to be a good man. Isaiah accepts Christ and is discipled by Joshua on how to live for Jesus. The Lord works in Isaiah’s heart and life. Isaiah’s new relationship with Jesus helps him save Joshua’s company.”
