Pray: Tori Kelly Hospitalized After Collapsing Due to Blood Clots

Grammy Award winner Tori Kelly was hospitalized Sunday, July 23, after fainting during dinner in downtown L.A.
According to a source, Kelly is being treated for blood clots found around her vital organs.
A source told TMZ that Kelly was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where doctors found blood clots around Kelly’s lungs and legs.
According to the source, Kelly’s condition is “really serious,” and she has been “in and out of consciousness.”
There have not been any updates on Kelly’s status since, but many fans shared prayers and kind words on a recent Instagram post.
One commenter said, “Came here from the news. May God be with you, Tori. Praying for your recovery.”
Another prayed, “Lord, I pray that you lay hands on Tori. Heal her of all her ailments, Lord. Amen.”
A third fan wrote, “Jesus, may this beautiful, kind and talented woman be okay. I pray that you will put your right hand on her right now and help her through this time.”
She recently released her first track in three years, “Missin U,” and spoke with PEOPLE in March about her plans to tour again.
“I miss touring so much. I was actually on a world tour right as Covid was happening, and it was heartbreaking to have to cancel that. Since then, I haven’t been able to tour,” she stated.
“That’s one of the most exciting things I’m looking forward to,” Kelly said. “I can’t give any details or anything yet, but I cannot wait just to see fans again and belt out these songs with them.”
In 2012, Kelly released her debut EP titled “Handmade Songs by Tori Kelly,” which showcased her impressive vocal range and songwriting skills. However, her appearances on AMERICAN IDOL in 2010 and AMERICA’S MOST TALENTED KIDS first launched her career.
Her breakthrough came in 2015 with the release of her debut studio album, “Unbreakable Smile.” The album’s lead single, “Nobody Love,” received significant radio airplay and was well-received by critics and fans.
