Pro-Life Football Star Welcomes Third Child

Pro-life football star Harrison Butker and his wife, Isabelle, just welcomed their third child.

The Kansas Chiefs kicker told Fox News’ THE INGRAHAM ANGLE that they now “have three children” while speaking about his pro-life stance.

“The NFL player did not reveal the baby’s age, sex or name,” PEOPLE reported. “The two are already parents to son James, 5, and another baby, whose name, sex and age they have not yet announced.”

Butker is vocal about his pro-life beliefs, even sporting a pro-life necktie while visiting President Biden at the White House earlier this year.

The tie was “Adorned with the words ‘protect the most vulnerable’ written in Latin and featuring the pro-life movement’s iconic baby feet lapel pin.”

“I wanted to give a voice to the most vulnerable members of our society, the unborn, in a place where efforts have been made to normalize the tragic termination of their lives,” he explained.

Because of his pro-life and Christian beliefs, the athlete just endorsed Josh Hawley in his senatorial reelection campaign.

“We decided to stay in Kansas City, and I thought, who else would I want to hit the campaign trail with than Sen. Josh Hawley, who we’ve spent the last several years together forming this relationship, and he’s a family man, he’s a godly man, and there’s no other person I’d want to support to be the first candidate that I’m endorsing,” Butker said while campaigning for the senator.

“This is a guy who’s not afraid to speak the truth, who’s not afraid to say that we have got to stand on the principles that this country was founded on,” Hawley said of Butker. “And when the left came after him in such a crazy, nutty way this last spring, he didn’t give an inch. And we need more of that in the United States of America.”

Hawley is right; Butker isn’t afraid to speak the truth. During a commencement speech at Benedictine College this spring, Butker addressed the value of women’s role as mothers.

Butker was “saddened” to receive the backlash he did about the words he said.

“I was trying to speak life for so many women that have dedicated their life to being the homemaker, being the one that raises the children, and it’s a beautiful role, but it’s not a role that should be diminished,” he admitted.

“There’s nothing shameful if you are a woman and you want to spend time with your family and raise your children,” Butker continued, “so it’s not putting down anyone who maybe wants to go get a great education and have a career, but it’s more talking about how beautiful it is for women to maybe just step aside and prioritize their family and spend time with their children and raise their family. And that’s what I was just trying to speak love about.”
