Many of McLaughlin-Levrone’s friends and fans celebrated the news in the comment section.

“Awww YAY!! Congrats 🥹🥹❤️,” Sadie Robertson Huff said.

McLaughlin-Levrone’s sponsor, New Balance Running, wrote, “New Balance Nationals Class of 2043.”

“Congrats!! Such a blessing💗,” fellow track star Allyson Felix commented.

McLaughlin-Levrone and Andre wed in 2022, and their faith has been a priority from the start.

“We didn’t interact until he slid into my DMs. We started off as friends,” the Olympic track star recalled in 2022 of the beginning of their relationship. “He asked me to do Bible study with him and introduced me to a group of really great people who were encouraging and very mature. It was the first time I was in a relationship with a man who I felt could lead me in my faith to a place where I wanted to be.”

The 2025 season was tough for the four-time Olympic gold medal winner, who is the world record holder in the 400-meter hurdles.

“This season was a test of faith beyond compare. To take the leap from comfort into the unknown required so much prayer and petitioning,” McLaughlin-Levrone wrote on social media. “Making the switch from the hurdles to the 400m flat was truly a God-led decision.”

“I believe God called me back to this challenge after the injury that hindered my ‘23 season,” she continued. “Not only to chase history but to further develop my character. This year, I have become more determined, patient, and self-disciplined, and I’m so overwhelmingly grateful to see how it culminated here. I will never forget that rainy night in Tokyo!!”

“Thank you to my family, my team, to the fans, and to my amazing church community for standing behind me. The best seasons in life often require the most dependence on God, and this was one of them. He is my good Shepherd!!” she added.

McLaughlin-Levrone also included Proverbs 21:31, which reads, “The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.”

The couple hasn’t announced their baby’s gender yet, but one thing’s for certain. Their new addition will be so loved!
