AMERICAN IDOL winner Hannah Harper is headed to the Grand Ole Opry!

“Fresh off her victory on ABC’s hit singing competition, Hannah Harper will make her official debut at the Grand Ole Opry on June 2 as part of the venue’s massive ‘Summer of the Century’ celebration during CMA Fest week,” Parade announced

Harper is set to perform alongside AMERICAN IDOL judge Carrie Underwood, who is also an AMERICAN IDOL winner.

“I definitely see myself in her quite a bit,” Underwood told Gold Derby of Harper. “She’s just relatable. I think that’s why people voted for her. They see a mom who’s juggling just like everybody else.”

The country star added, “Her family’s been out here the whole time. I know she’s coming to rehearsals and going home and making dinner…A lot of respect to her for already figuring that out.”

Harper, a mother of three, is also a devout Christian, sharing her faith throughout her time on the competition show.

“I’ve been in ministry since I was 9 years old, and it looks different for other people, but having a platform at this level and getting to still be this open about my relationship with the Lord is an incredible honor to me,” she told The Christian Post.

Harper continued, “I think it’s important for people to know you’re never too far gone. He can meet you anywhere…no matter what walk of life you’re in.”

She has also been vocal about her commitment to putting her family first, despite her newfound musical success.

“The only thing that was real and mattered was my kids and my relationship with my husband, which I think is very important,” Harper told Parade. ‘I think that’s why so many people admire Dolly [Parton] because she’s such a character. She can put it on and then she can take it off and she can be a separate person, so I’m struggling with that because I take pride in authenticity, of being real on stage and off stage, so just balancing those relationships is going to be hard at first.”

The singer said she thinks her family “will get it,” adding that Underwood gave her plenty of advice on the topic.

“Carrie just wanted to make sure that I kept a hold of the grasp of reality once everything settled down and just made sure to still focus on the priorities, which is my kids and my husband,” Harper concluded.

Harper’s fans are excited to see her step onto the Opry stage and into the next phase of her career!
