Tim Tebow Shares Inspiring Story about Girl Overcoming Disabilities: ‘What an Amazing God’

In a recent Instagram post, Tim Tebow shared an inspirational story about Rhema, a young woman with special needs who was one of his foundation’s Night to Shine queens.

“This past weekend, I had the chance to be with an incredible hero, Rhema, who is one of our NTS (Night to Shine) queens. Some of you might know her from the words and story I got to share in Mission Possible and how her life has brought me so much perspective,” Tebow posted on Instagram.

He continued, “Getting to be with Rhema this past weekend, I’m reminded of the words she wrote that forever changed my life. Though Rhema may have never spoken audibly, she radically impacted my heart through her story and her voice. It makes me emotional to think of all the boys and girls around the world who might be nonverbal but still should have a voice like Rhema does.”

“Getting to see first hand Rhema slowly and methodically type on her iPad, and do what many thought could never be done, definitely rocked me in the best way possible. And her words showed me; what an amazing girl, what an amazing testimony, and what an amazing God we get to love and be loved by!” Tebow added.

“Seeing such incredible things reminded me that with our God anything is possible!” he said. “God can place divine interruptions in our life to remind us how big he is, how caring he is and how incredible people can be.”

The former NFL star and his foundation frequently support and encourage others.

The foundation brings “Faith, Hope and Love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need.”

“We strive to fight for the Most Vulnerable People in the world—the MVP—through our work in our four main focuses in Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation, Orphan Care + Prevention, Profound Medical Needs, and Special Needs Ministry,” the website reads.
