Tim Tebow Urges Fans to Make Courageous Decisions: ‘Show Boldness’
By Movieguide® Contributor
Heisman trophy winner Tim Tebow discussed why it is important for Christians to make decisions based on courage rather than comfort.
In a recent video shared on his Instagram page, Tebow asked, “Do you feel you are making decisions in your life to prioritize comfort or courage?”
He continued, “Today, I am going to be willing to get uncomfortable. I am going to go talk to that guy I’ve never talked to. I am going to give a little bit more than I was willing to give. I am going to be a little bit more generous. I am going to be a little bit more courageous. I am going to step out of my comfort zone.”
“God can show up in any way he wants because he’s God,” Tebow continued. “Our life is different. I see God just showing up in those ways so much more. It’s getting out of our comfort zone, being willing to do some of the things that maybe society is like, ‘Oh no, no, no. Keep driving, keep going. Oh, that’s uncomfortable don’t do that.’ But when we get out of our comfort zone, and we show a little courage, and we show a little boldness, I also think it’s a place where so much more impact and change and fulfillment comes.”

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Tebow frequently shares his faith on social media. In another post, he said, “It’s easy to get caught up in the highs and lows of life! Luckily, we serve a God who took our place on the cross and because He went through His worst moment, we get to have our best moments! Place your identity in Him!”
Movieguide® previously reported on why Tebow is committed to sharing his faith:
Former football star Tim Tebow recently sat down for an interview about his devotion to sharing his faith with the rest of the world.
“I think it’s the most loving thing that we could do,” Tebow said of his commitment to sharing his faith. “If you really believe the rescue mission of Jesus Christ … of what He did for us on the cross … a great joy for all the people, and if I’ve been able to receive this free gift … and if I don’t share that with someone else, that’s not loving.”
He continued, “It’s actually selfish, and the most loving thing that I can do is to share that in a kind and loving way.”
