We’ve heard about HGTV’s INN THIS TOGETHER for a while, and now we have a release date.

The show follows Erin and Ben Napier as they help their family and friends transform a building in their hometown into a boutique hotel and food venue. However, the building, called The Heirloom, caught on fire last summer, TV Insider noted.

It’s unclear if the new episodes will feature any of the rebuild, or if it will just be the renovation that led up to the fire. We’ll find out on May 10.

“Praise God, no one was inside. We held each other and watched while the brave firefighters from the Laurel FD worked for hours to get it under control,” Erin said last year.

“Today feels like a funeral. But I know these people. They won’t give up here,” she added.

At the time, she said she didn’t know what would happen to the episodes that were filmed.

She said, “I don’t know much of anything. Pray for my friends and family, please.” Later, the Napiers confirmed the show will still air on HGTV.

Then HGTV announced on social media on April 10, “Ben and Erin will be helping their best friends Jim, Mallorie, and Josh take on Laurel’s biggest project yet — turning the abandoned 1930 Kress building into a dream inn on the brand new series HOME TOWN: INN THIS TOGETHER.”

The new show will come out next month, on May 10 at 8/7c.  HGTV hasn’t said how many episodes there will be.

The show’s description reads, “The Napiers, who have successfully revived many outdated homes and historical locations in their small town, will lean in to help their family and best friends Jim and Mallorie Rasberry and Josh Nowell, who plan to restore the dilapidated 1930 Kress building in downtown Laurel. The enterprising trio believes the 25,000-square-foot space that’s been vacant for 40 years will be the perfect setting for a hotel, food venue, and storefront.”

It adds that the Napiers will “face an array of challenges on the way to make their dream a reality, including: crumbling walls, flooded floors, seven-figure budget dilemmas, and a devastating fire that severely damages the hotel post renovation.”

Last October, after the fire, The Heirloom’s owners shared an update that they will “keep building,” despite the extensive damage.

“If the Lord’s willing, we will keep building!” they wrote in the caption of a video, which showed a typewritten note: “Let the favor of the Lord out God be on us; establish for us the work of our hands — establish the work of our hands.”
