Premiere dates are still to come, but NBC, CBS and ABC have announced what they’re airing in the fall.
CBS will continue to air NCIS and FBI but has cancelled FBI: MOST WANTED and FBI: INTERNATIONAL. It will welcome DMV and FIRE COUNTRY spinoff, SHERIFF COUNTRY. TRACKER’s new season will be on Sunday nights. THE NEIGHBORHOOD will air its eighth and last season on Mondays.
GEORGIE & MANDY’S FIRST MARRIAGE Season 2 will air on Thursday nights. Thursdays will also see new respective seasons of ELSBETH and GHOSTS. BLUE BLOODS spinoff, BOSTON BLUE, will air on Fridays, Screen Rant reported on May 18.
BLUE BLOODS’ last episode was in December, but it’s spirit will be revived in BOSTON BLUE, where Donnie Wahlberg will take the lead as Danny Reagan. Parade reported that Reagan moves from New York City to Boston, where he is paired with a beautiful detective, Lena Peters, the daughter of a prominent law enforcement family.
At a recent red carpet, Wahlberg hinted at where the plot will go.
“Oh, I know a lot of things, but I’m not going to say it,” he told an interviewer. “I would just say that my first question when presented with this opportunity was, ‘Okay, where did we leave off with BLUE BLOODS? And what does that mean going forward?’”
“So lots of things are happening at the end of BLUE BLOODS and we will need updates on what’s happened since then going forward. That’s all I can say,” he teased.
NBC will continue with THE HUNTING PARTY and BRILLIANT MINDS. ONE CHICAGO, HAPPY’S PLACE, DENIS MEDICAL, and LAW & ORDER will also air. So far, NBC has not announced any new shows for its fall lineup.
ABC will air 9-1-1 Season 9 and GREY’S ANATOMY Season 22. ABC pushed back THE ROOKIE and WILL TRENT to next spring. It hasn’t announced whether DOCTOR ODYSSEY is renewed. The channel is introducing 9-1-1: NASHVILLE. ABC is also continuing with new seasons of ABBOT ELEMENTARY, HIGH POTENTIAL and SHIFTING GEARS.
ABC announced SHIFTING GEARS’ renewal last month with a little teaser video captioned, “ore work to be done on this father/daughter restoration! 🚗 🧰”

Though the networks have cancelled quite a few shows, it looks like there’s still plenty available for TV fans to enjoy. And nearly every renewed show across the three networks will be on the same night and time as they were in 2024, which is good news for those fans who have gotten used to their favorite shows’ schedules.
