WHEN CALLS THE HEART Announces Major News

Hearties old and new were given an amazing gift this holiday season when Hallmark announced that all seasons of the show are now available to stream on the network’s new platform Hallmark+.

“All seasons [of WHEN CALLS THE HEART] are now streaming on @hallmarkplus! Get caught up or rewatch your favorites before the season premiere this Sunday at 9/8c on @Hallmarkchannel!” the WHEN CALLS THE HEART Instagram page posted on Dec. 30.

This is major news as it is the first time the early seasons of the show have been available to stream. Hallmark has a deal with NBC to make Season 8 onwards available on Peacock, but fans can now rewatch the show starting from the very first episode of Season 1.

This announcement came just before the release of Season 12, which kicked off on Jan. 5. Season 12 will also be available to stream as the episodes release. Episode 2 will premiere on Jan 12 with the third and fourth episodes releasing on the 19th and 26th, respectively.

WHEN CALLS THE HEART remains Hallmark’s most successful show and boasts an extremely committed audience. Season 12 promises to reach new heights, especially as LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE star Melissa Gilbert guest stars on the show.

“WHEN CALLS THE HEART has long drawn comparisons to LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE, for its charming and compelling stories of hope, human connection and frontier survival,” said Kelly Garrett, vice president of Hallmark Media programming, said after Gilbert’s role was announced. “It was only fitting that the first people to hear this special news were the Hearties — devoted fans who have celebrated the show year after year and made it such a success. The energy being here with them to share this news is electric and we cannot wait for them to meet Georgie next year.”

Now that Season 12 has arrived, fans need not wait any longer to see how Gilbert’s character impacts the show.
