Influencer Brittany Lynn Lutz encouraged her fans to place their trust in the Lord in all of their decisions, rather than allowing Satan to influence their lives through fear.

1 John 4:18 ‘Perfect love casts out fear.’ 1 John 4:8 ‘God is love.’ Fear cannot be present if God is. Making or not making a decision from a place of fear is not making a God decision for your life and thus leads to making the wrong decision,” Lutz, the wife of TWILIGHT star Kellan Lutz, wrote on an Instagram post where she encouraged her fans to choose to trust in the Lord over fear. “It puts you in a place of responsibility that you weren’t assigned to and puts a weight on you that you aren’t equipped to carry.”

“I’m reminding you of this because I have suffered so many times in my life when I didn’t have to by making or not making decisions from a place of fear. That doesn’t mean the right decision won’t be a little scary sometimes. But something being scary vs it being rooted in a spirit of fear are two very different things…” she continued. “Fear has NEVER made my life better. He has NEVER steered me wrong. Just because the decision is hard doesn’t mean it’s wrong. He is trustworthy. I promise. ❤️

Lutz has long helped her fans get a Christian perspective on life and encourages them see God’s plan for them, rather than allowing their views and judgement to become clouded. She has previously discussed a similar topic to fear, encouraging her fans to rely on the Lord instead of on their own strength.

“When we fall into the deception of self-reliance, however, we can become addicted to our own abilities,” Lutz said. “If you’re struggling with stress or pride, then that means that you probably are not relying on God, because in His presence…there is no stress, there is no anxiety.”

In today’s world, almost everybody could use this reminder as stress and anxiety have become ubiquitous across America. People of all ages constantly face both of these – largely because they do not fully trust their future with the Lord. Lutz has also encouraged her fans to trust that God has a plan for their life and is directing their path – another worry that causes so much stress and anxiety today.

“If God is the director of this movie, of the story,” Lutz said, using the metaphor as one’s life as a movie, “and he is on set in the director’s chair, and you are cast as the leading lady of a story, he wants to tell through you that will bring people closer to him, that will be fulfilling for you, that will bring joy and hope…and no one’s there. The leading lady isn’t there. You’re not there…I want to ask you are you hiding? Are you hiding from the story that God wants to tell through you?”

“I just want to encourage anyone who knows what you’re supposed to do—start the podcast, start the blog, start the YouTube channel, whatever it is that you’re supposed to do, and maybe it’s preaching the gospel, maybe it’s sharing your testimony,” she continued. “Whatever it is, only you know what it is. You have to show up and take that step of faith and just do it, and he’s with you every step of the way. And he’s gonna lead you and guide you.”

Reminders like this are extremely powerful and can put people back on track. It is encouraging to see Lutz use her platform to encourage her fans and keep them on the path the Lord desires for them.
