More Detail:

DAVID is a live production from the Sight & Sound Theatres in Missouri and Pennsylvania, as well as a broadcast on Sight & Sound TV.

The story follows David from the Bible, as he obeys God’s will for his life, going from a humble shepherd to a King. Throughout his journey, the actor who plays David plays a lyre on stage and sings the Psalms from the Bible.

The story recounts David’s battle with Goliath, running from King Saul, his time as a great warrior, and as the King of Israel, as well as his failures, sins and shortcomings. However, the production stresses David’s repentant heart and focuses on David’s personal relationship to Almighty God.

DAVID is a rousing production that brings viewers closer to God and His Word, the Bible, as it masterfully tells the story of David. Despite its tremendous production values, with a cast of over 50 actors, live animals on stage, beautiful sets, and new visual effects technology, the goal of Sight & Sound Theatres is to give God the glory.

DAVID is a must-see production that glorifies God’s name, spurs its audience to worship, and teaches viewers about the goodness of God’s Word.
