THINK LIKE A MAN TOO

"Wedding Party Plans Go Awry"

Watch:

What You Need To Know:

THINK LIKE A MAN TOO is a comedy sequel. A group of young friends goes to Las Vegas to attend the wedding of their friends, Michael and Candace. The bridal couple is experiencing some problems with Michael’s mother, Loretta, who thinks Candace isn’t good enough for her son. Goofball Cedric has wrangled himself into being Michael’s Best Man. Cedric has spared no expense for Michael’s bachelor party, but he’s bitten off more than he can chew. The chaos of the bachelor party directly impacts the girls’ bachelorette party and threatens to derail the whole wedding.

THINK LIKE A MAN TOO becomes funnier as it goes along. Sadly, the lewd references also get stronger. For example, things come to a head at a male strip club, where a fight breaks out. The good news is that the movie’s ending is inspiring, uplifting and heartfelt. For example, marriage, forgiveness, reconciliation, commitment, and having children are extolled. Still, THINK LIKE A MAN TOO has plenty of foul language and lewd references. There are also some jokes about marijuana use. So, extreme caution is advised.

Content:

(PaPa, Ro, FR, B, Cap, C, AB, LLL, V, SS, N, AA, DD, MM) Strong mixed pagan worldview with pagan content, some lawless antinomian behavior, some moral content includes marriage and having children extolled, some capitalist content, and a redemptive scene of forgiveness and light Christian allusions, but an older Christian woman needs to change her overbearing, somewhat selfish attitude; 58 obscenities, three strong profanities, 13 light profanities, and other vulgar dialogue; some comical violence includes a fight breaks out at a strip club with some punches, wrestling, and a man beats another man with a plastic FLINTSTONES club prop, plus woman stumbles; implied fornication between an unmarried older couple, some bedroom scenes with kissing, and a medium level of lewd, crude sexual jokes and references overall, including references to strip clubs, male stripper starts to give bride-to-be a lapdance during a bachelorette party, and men get excited by women in sexy swimsuits during bachelor party; upper male nudity, some women are topless at a Vegas hotel pool but nothing explicit shown, women in bikinis, and male stripper wears tight skimpy underwear in club; alcohol use and drunkenness; no smoking but jokes about marijuana and women accidentally lick marijuana strips with THC in them thinking they are strips for bad breath; and, gambling, a friend goes behind another friend’s back, greed.

More Detail:

THINK LIKE A MAN TOO is a mixed bag of tricks in almost every way. Sometimes funny, sometimes heartfelt, sometimes inspiring, sometimes overly crude, sometimes annoying, and sometimes depressing, it has an uplifting ending. However, it has too much foul language and too many snide, annoying sexual references.

In this comedy sequel, a group of young friends goes to Las Vegas to attend the wedding of their friends, Michael and Candace. The bridal couple is experiencing some problems with Michael’s mother, Loretta, who thinks Candace isn’t good enough for her son. Loretta also wants to control the bachelorette party Candace has set up with her bridesmaids, as well as the wedding. Meanwhile, goofball Cedric, who’s on a trial separation from his wife, Gail, has wrangled himself into being Michael’s Best Man. Cedric’s has pulled out all the stops and spared no expense for Michael’s bachelor party, but he’s bitten off more than he could chew. The chaos of the bachelor party directly impacts the bachelorette party and threatens to derail the whole wedding.

THINK LIKE A MAN TOO becomes funnier as it goes along. Sadly, the lewd references also get stronger in the second half. For example, things come to a head at the male stripper section of the Hustler club in Vegas, where a fight breaks out and everyone but Michael’s mother ends up in jail. The fight is funny, but the visit to the strip club, especially one run by the evil, lamebrain, loony, loathsome Larry Flynt’s abhorrent Hustler company, isn’t.

The good news is that the movie’s ending is inspiring, uplifting and heartfelt. For example, marriage, forgiveness, reconciliation, commitment, and having children are extolled, among other things. The movie could have put these things in a more overt Christian, biblical way, but it’s still good that at least some positive things are promoted.

That said, THINK LIKE A MAN TOO has plenty of foul language and lewd references. There are also some jokes about marijuana use. So, extreme caution is advised.
