More Detail:
In LAST HOPE WITH TROY DUNN: “A Mother’s Lies” a woman named Amanda has longed for a strong father figure. Amanda endured many years of abuse by her mother and whom she believed was her real father. When Amanda becomes pregnant with her first child, her mother reveals the man she thought was her dad is not. Amanda then becomes determined to find her biological father. When she’s reunited with her real dad, she learns how much he longed to be a part of her life. Her mother left her biological father when she was pregnant and never contacted him again. When Amanda meets her real dad, they both break down in tears of joy. Although Amanda had a tragic childhood, a positive worldview is displayed after she is reunited with her dad. Amanda maintained a strong faith when she was abused, and now has a dad who loves her, a husband and two beautiful children.
“A Mother’s Lies” is told through Amanda’s perspective where her piercing blue eyes convey great pain. However, her Christian faith gives her victory over that pain, and goodness results. Caution is advised for young children because of Amanda’s reveal of extreme sexual abuse as a child.
